The Majlis has over the years been providing scholarships to deserving underprivileged Muslims to further their academic studies at various levels from Primary through to University.  The scholarship program is based on the belief of the Majlis that real development for the underprivileged can only be realized through education.

To date, two students have completed their studies in Medicine and are working at two of Zimbabwe's biggest hospitals, whereas four have completed Engineering and Pharmaceutical degree courses.  Currently about ten students are pursuing their studies at local and regional universities and other Institutes of higher learning.

Besides these students who are sponsored directly, the Majlis has facilitated scholarship in Islamic and Arabic studies at a number of Islamic universities and other Institutes of higher Islamic learning in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, United Kingdom, Qatar, Sudan and South Africa.  So far about 50 have since graduated under this category and almost 30 students are still pursuing their studies there.
